About Kiwanis of Hudson, NH

What is Kiwanis and What do they do?

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick.

They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and much more. No problem is too big or too small. Why? Because working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, great things happen! Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth-sports programs, planting trees, playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children and communities.

•The Hudson Kiwanis Club members gave more than 1000 hours and have raised and donated more than $50,000 last year for projects such as Hudson Old Home Days, Bicycle Safety Day, Relay For Life, College Scholarships as well as local youth sports, Hudson PumpkinFest, Hudson Girls Softball, education programs and local children’s organizations.

   • The Hudson Kiwanis Club sponsors the Alvirne High School Key Club and the Campbell High School Key Club which have combined over 120 members and have done many projects for the community such as Make A Wish fundraiser dinners, Clothing drives, Unicef, and Thanksgiving Baskets for the less fortunate, and all sorts of creative ways to help in each community.

Our mission is to serve children of the world. We have about 8,000 clubs in 96 countries, more than 260,000 adult members and approximately 320,000 youth.

The Hudson Kiwanis meets on the first and third Mondays of the month 7PM.

The Hudson Kiwanis meet every other week- the first and third Monday of each month, in Hudson, NH.

Meetings generally last an hour to and hour and a half, and include presentations from local groups seeking donations, national or regional Kiwanis visitors, or some type of presentation concerning members.

The meeting agenda is kept short so members have the time to connect and enjoy each others company over a beverage and some snacks.
